Who We Are

Dominic and Barbara Gorniak met as teenagers and married in 1981 after high-school graduation. Dominic had always been an avid hunter since childhood, and as an adult the love of the sport only grew stronger.  Whenever he was able, he hunted, and as time went by, he was fortunate to visit such places as Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Alaska, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Mexico, and several domestic US states, always eager to try something new and challenging.

Throughout the years, Dominic convinced Barb to accompany him on a hunt or two, and eventually hooked her into doing a bit of it, herself, although she still leaves the majority of the hard-core adventures to him.

Barb found her real talent when Dominic decided to turn his life-long hobby into a business, and spent a great deal of time and effort in the custom-design of their hunting lodge that was completed in 2003.

One of the greatest assests of the Game Ranch is Dominic's life-long friend and fellow hunter, Chris Anderson, who serves as the General Manager of the property as well as being an excellent guide and true hunting buddy.

You can be assured that when you choose Twin Lakes Wildlife Ranch as your hunting adventure that you will be treated with personal service and style, guided by experienced hunters who just love the sport and the great outdoors.

 The Lodge

Built along the shoreline of an 80-acre semi-private lake, the lodge consists of two guest bedroom suites in the lower level as well as two upper floor bedrooms and master bedroom. The Gorniak's consider this their second home, often spending weekends there for relaxation and enjoyment.

Interior 

The interior of the lodge was designed for comfort and luxury, a place to relax and unwind after a day of hunting and enjoy good food, good drinks, and your choice of entertainment.

For those who are inclined to do a little fishing, a fully-equipped pontoon boat is ready for your use.  

Or if you simply wish to relax on the back patio or in the 8-person outdoor hot tub next to a flickering fire-pit, sipping on your favorite beverage before dinner, that is an option as well.

On the lower level is a game room with a pool table, chess and checkers... 

...and upstairs is a television nook with video games and a generously-stocked bookshelf for those who wish to quietly read.

Your evening meal will be prepared according to your menu preferences, served in our comfortable dining area.

Our abundantly-stocked wine cellar and fully-stocked bar should supply you with the beverage of your choice. Any special preferences or dietary requirements will be gladly accomodated. Just let us know before you arrive, and we will take care of you!

 After dinner, you may wish to watch TV and relax in the great room, or you might like to indulge in a nightcap while seated cozily in the indoor spa. 

Guest Suite

And last, but surely not least, you will find your personal guest bedroom suite with private bath and hand-made rustic queen-sized bed to be a comfortable place to end your day (or even to nap at your leisure when needed to freshen up at any time).
